Range of Services

Our department is specialised in the treatment of injuries to the musculoskeletal system, such as bone fractures, joint problems and tendon / ligature / meniscus injuries in particular. Interventions are performed in a minimally invasive or arthroscopic manner, if possible. In fracture treatment, advanced and mostly fixed-angle titanium implants are used. In emergencies, a surgery team is available almost instantly. Less urgent cases are quickly taken into account in the operation schedule.

The outpatient trauma / orthopaedic emergency department ensures surgical availability for urgent cases  at seven days a week. Modern x-ray, ultrasound and MRI systems for joint examinations are available also at the weekend.

Our team cares for the Hockey Team of the Adler Mannheim, six-time winner of the German Ice Hockey Championship

We have been Team physicians of the German handball league team ‘Rhein-Neckar-Löwen’ 2008-2013
