In the following we explain which data we collect during your visit to our website and how exactly this data is used:

Data collection and processing when you access our website from the Internet

When you visit our web pages, our web servers temporarily save each access in a log file. The following data is collected and stored until it is automatically deleted:

IP address of the requesting computer
Date and time of access
Name and URL of the accessed file
Amount of data transferred
Message as to whether the retrieval was successful
Identification data of the browser and operating system used
Website from which the file was accessed
Name of your Internet access provider
This data is processed for the purpose of enabling the use of the website (establishing a connection), system security, technical administration of the network infrastructure and optimisation of the website. The IP address is only evaluated in the event of attacks on the network infrastructure of the joint practice of Dr. Andreas Klonz and Dr. Guido Volk, MD.

The German Telemedia Act (TMG) permits the use of user profiles under a pseudonym in accordance with § 15 Para. 3 TMG, provided the user does not object to this. Should we make use of this possibility on our website, we will inform you of your right to object at the appropriate place.

Personal data will not be processed beyond the aforementioned cases unless you expressly consent to further processing.

Use and disclosure of personal data

Any use of your personal data will only be for the purposes stated and to the extent necessary to achieve these purposes.

Personal data will only be transferred to state institutions and authorities within the framework of mandatory national legal provisions or if the transfer is necessary for legal or criminal prosecution in the event of attacks on our network infrastructure. Data will not be passed on to third parties for any other purpose.

Consent to further use

The use of certain offers on our website, such as newsletters, forums or event registrations, requires prior registration and further processing of personal data, e.g. long-term storage of e-mail addresses, user IDs and passwords. Such data is only used if you have submitted it to us and consented to its use in advance.

Web analysis

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics is a web analytics tool that helps website owners analyse how visitors interact with their websites.

Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.
Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. This is possible by installing the deactivation add-on from Google. The add-on tells the JavaScript of Google Analytics that no website visit information should be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

We do not store the IP addresses of its visitors. The IP addresses of website visitors are anonymised, which means that personal references and personal localisation are not applied.

By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
You may object to the collection and storage of data by Google Analytics at any time with effect for the future.

Security

We use technical and organisational security measures in order to protect the personal data we have under our control against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or against access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Cookies

When you visit our website, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files that are transferred from an Internet server to your browser and stored on its hard drive. Only the internet protocol address is stored – no personal data. This information, which is stored in the cookies, allows us to recognise you automatically the next time you visit our website, making it easier for you to use.

Of course, you can also visit our website without accepting cookies. If you do not want your computer to be recognised on your next visit, you can also refuse the use of cookies by changing the settings in your browser to “refuse cookies”. You will find the respective procedure in the operating instructions of your respective browser. However, if you refuse the use of cookies, this may restrict the use of some areas of our website.

Links to websites of other providers

Our websites may contain links to websites of other providers. We would like to point out that this data protection declaration applies exclusively to the website and pages on which explicit reference is made to this data protection declaration. We have no influence on and do not control that other providers comply with the applicable data protection regulations.

Right to information and contact details

If you wish to contact us by e-mail, we would like to point out that the content of unencrypted e-mails can be viewed by third parties. We therefore recommend sending confidential information in encrypted form or by post.

You have a right to information regarding the personal data stored about you and also a right to correction of incorrect data, blocking and deletion.

Inclusion, validity and up-to-dateness of the data protection declaration

By using our website, you consent to the use of data as described above. The data protection declaration is currently valid and dated 20.05.2018.

Due to the further development of our website or the implementation of new technologies, it may become necessary to amend this data protection declaration. The joint practice of Dr. med. Andreas Klonz and Dr. med. Guido Volk reserves the right to change the data protection declaration at any time with effect for the future. We recommend that you read the current data protection declaration again from time to time.
